And that's at the core of our most recent work here. Good business after all is about great communication and technology enables organisations to achieve that. This has never been more poignant than in the dispersed, virtual business environments that so many of us work in today. Being connected to our business means more than accessing data but also connecting to the people within it - and this now extends to include customers and suppliers, creating an ecosystem for an organisation's business network.

Take for instance the finance department; with our free app aCloud Portal they can connect with customers quickly to answer queries on statements, invoices and credit notes, speeding up the whole issue resolution and approval process. By integrating social media tools into the fabric of the cloud business software staff can interact with each other in real-time, boosting productivity and leaving more time for value added activity. Getting people talking definitely leads to better engagement - and a more responsive business as a result.
